Accessibility statement
I-Teach treats the accessibility of its digital service as part of its educational commitment. We work to let every person, including people with disabilities, use the information on this site independently, equally and with dignity.
Conformance level and standard
This site was made accessible in accordance with Regulation 35 of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773–2013, and with Israeli Standard 5568, which adopts the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at conformance level AA.
Adaptations implemented
- Correct semantic structure: hierarchical headings, navigation, main content and footer regions marked up in code.
- Full keyboard operation, including the navigation menu, with a clear high-contrast focus indicator.
- A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
- Alternative text for images and diagrams that carry meaning, with decorative images marked so screen readers skip them.
- Text colour contrast meeting a ratio of at least 4.5:1, in both display modes.
- A light display mode and a dark display mode, selectable by the visitor.
- Data tables with captions and marked column headers so screen readers read them correctly.
- Full right-to-left support on the Hebrew page, with a parallel English page.
- Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion setting — animations switch off automatically.
- Correct rendering under text enlargement and at every screen size, with no loss of content and no horizontal scrolling.
- Buttons and links carry an accessible name, including icon-only controls.
- Videos load only when the visitor asks for them — no autoplay, no unexpected motion — and are presented with subtitles in a fully keyboard-operable player.
Testing performed
The site was tested automatically against the WCAG 2.0 level A and AA success criteria using the axe-core engine, and manually for keyboard navigation, colour contrast and rendering on wide and mobile screens, across the home page, the I-Teach for Work page and this statement, in both languages and both display modes.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Wherever such a gap is identified we undertake to address it promptly. As of the date of this statement we are not aware of any deviation from the standard on this site. The site embeds two videos from the company archive, supplied with subtitles. They never load or play automatically, and can be started and stopped from the keyboard. The site currently contains no audio files or downloadable documents; if such content is added it will be made accessible in line with the standard.
